Church family,

Due to illness in our congregation and the recent spike of COVID-19 cases in Knox County and across the country, the time has once again come to modify how we worship in order to gather as safely as we can.  Here are the important items you need to know:

  • We are suspending our Wednesday night services for two weeks (Nov. 18th and November 25th).
  • We are suspending our Sunday School/Bible Fellowship Groups on Sunday mornings for two weeks (Nov. 22nd and Nov. 29th).  Zoom classes and Conference-Call classes are strongly encouraged.
  • We are still having in-person corporate worship and our livestream on Sunday mornings.  For those who attend services on our campus, we are strongly advising and asking for everyone to we are a mask the entire length of the service.  The only exceptions would be for those leading from the stage and for medical reasons.
  • We are inviting all children who attend to join us in the sanctuary for corporate worship.  We are suspending all childcare for a two week period (Nov. 22nd and Nov. 29th).

During this unprecedented time, your staff is working hard to facilitate gathering safely to worship our Lord.  We have prayerfully considered each step, and we appreciate your patience and flexibility.  We recognize how difficult it is to face uncertainty, but we value the health and lives of every single guest and member.  Please continue to pray for us, and be the church we know you are.  Pray for each other, love and check on each other, and let us keep our eyes on Him.

In Christ,

Pastor Kirby
