At Mount Olive, we believe that prayer is priority. We have a prayer meeting every Wednesday to pray for our members, our church, our community, and our world. If you have prayer requests or needs, please call our Church office (577-5559) and we will add you to our prayer list.

Praying for Our Pastors
Psalm 31:23 Father, I thank You that our Pastor is faithful,
Psalm 31:23 and that You preserve him.
Prov. 28:20 We pray that He abound with blessings 
Gal. 6:9 and do not grow weary in well doing.
Phil. 1:6 Remind him that You who began a good in him will prefect it.
Eph. 2:10 He is Your workmanship created in Christ Jesus,
Heb. 13:21 and equipped in every good thing to do Your will.
Heb. 13:21 Work in him that which is well-pleasing in Your sight.
2 Cor. 9:8 Let all grace abound toward him, having sufficiency in all things,
2 Cor. 9:8 and an abundance for every good work.
2 Cor. 9:6 Because he has sowed bountifully, he will reap bountifully,
2 Cor. 3:6 and whether he plants or waters, Father, You give the increase. 
2 Cor. 2:14 I pray that he would continually triumph in Christ,

Deut. 28:2 We pray that all blessings come upon him and overtake him,

1 Peter 5:2 We pray that he shepherd  the flock willingly, eagerly, and being an example to them.
1 Cor. 2:4 We pray that his speech and preaching is in demonstration of the Spirit and power.
2 Tim. 4:2 And he is ready in season and out of season to preach the Word.
Joshua 1:3 Remind him that every place the soles of his feet tread upon has been given to him,
Deut. 31:6 that he is strong and of good courage for You, Lord, go with him.
Psalm 27:14 We pray that he would wait on You and that You would strengthen his heart.
Titus 1:5 Help him to set in order things that are lacking,
Titus 1:5 and appoint elders in every city.
2 Cor. 10:4 I tear down the strongholds over the pulpit.
Ex. 17:11 I lift up our pastor and cover him

Deut. 28 Sickness and disease shall in no way come near him,

Praying for the  Church
1 Peter 5:6 Heavenly Father, we humble ourselves under Your mighty hand.
1 John 1:9 Forgive us for our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Heb. 10:22 Let us draw near to You with a true heart in full assurance of faith,
Heb. 10:22 having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience,
Heb. 10:22 and our bodies washed with pure water.
Col. 3:16 Let Your Word dwell in us richly.
Col. 1:9 Fill us with the knowledge of Your will,
Col. 1:9 in all wisdom and spiritual understanding,

Eph. 5:16 redeeming the time, for the days are evil.
Heb. 12:1 Running with endurance the race that is set before us,
Col. 3:2 setting our minds on things above and not on things on the earth.
Phil. 3:14 But pressing toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God.
Eph. 6:11 Putting on the whole armor of God that we may stand against the devil.
Acts 4:29 That we will speak forth Your Word with great boldness
Acts 4:30 and that You will stretch forth Your hand to heal,
Acts 4:30 that signs and wonders may be done in the name of Your Son, Jesus.

Praying for Relationships
Matt. 12:21  Father, I come before You in prayer and in faith.
Rom. 13:11  Your Word says that now is the time for all to awaken from sleep,
Rom. 13:11  For salvation is nearer now than we first believed
Col. 1:13  Lord, deliver all my loved ones from the power of darkness,
Rom. 13:12  and cause them to put on the armor of light.
Rom. 13:14  Help them in their daily walk to put on the Lord Jesus Christ
Rom. 13:13  and to avoid the lusts and idolatry of life.
Psalm 119:37  Cause them to turn their eyes away from worthless things,
2 Tim. 2:26  to come to their senses, and escape the snare of the devil.
Rom. 13:13  Deliver them from immorality, strife and envy,
Heb. 10:22  and draw them near to You, Father, with a true heart.
Matt. 5:6  Create in them a hunger and thirst for You and YOur righteousness, 
Psalm 119:37  and revive them in Your ways.
Col. 1:9  I ask that You fill them with the knowledge of Your will 
Col. 1:9  in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
Col. 1:10  that they might have a walk worthy of You, Lord,
Col. 1:10  fully pleasing You, being fruitful in every good work,
Col. 1:10  and increasing in the knowledge of You,

Rom. 8:30  Bring them into the calling that You have predestined for them;

James 1:22  Let them be doers of the Word and not hearers only,
Psalm 119:97  meditating in Your Word day and night.
Psalm 112:6  Establish their heart, so they will never be shaken,
1 Cor. 10:13  and show them a way of escape with every temptation.
Rom. 13:8  Let them owe no man anything except their love.
1 John 3:19  A love that is in deed and truth, not just in word and speech.
Psalm 110:3  Let them be volunteers serving You in the time of Your power.
Matt. 6:33  Seeking first Your kingdom so that they will reap abundant blessings.
Prov. 3:9  I pray that they will honor You with their possessions
Prov. 3:9  and with the firstfruits of their increase;
Psalm 111:1  Praising the Lord with their whole heart in the assembly
Psalm 111:1  of the upright and in the congregation,
Mic. 6:8 walking humbly with You Lord, being determined to act justly, 
Psalm 112:4  loving mercy and righteousness,
Psalm 112:4  being gracious and full of compassion.
