Woman to Woman
Women's Ministry of Mount Olive Baptist Church
Woman to Woman
Looking up to Christ
Reaching out for His Kingdom
Loving each other
In His name.
"And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of Lord Jesus..." Colossians 3:17.
(A Word from Diana Waldrip)
The Mission of the Women's Ministry of Mount Olive Baptist Church is to meet...to equip...to nurture...and to evangelize the needs of all women by exalting our Lord and Savior, equipping the saints to know and apply God's Word in their everyday lives, nurturing women's spiritual gifts, and evangelizing the lost.
As the Women's Ministry team leader, I would like to welcome you to an exciting and Spirit-filled year for the women of Mount Olive Baptist Church. Just as a lovely piece of tapestry is made up of many beautifully tinted strands of thread that are meticulously woven together, so our lives as women are made up of divergent needs, unique relationships, and various responsibilities. We have not been created by God to be admired from afar; instead we will fulfill our designed purpose as we become a living and useful fabric touching those around us every day. As the "Master Designer" is busy weaving the tapestry of your life, we trust you will find the Mount Olive Women's Ministry as a source of strength, prayer support, compassion, wisdom, encouragement, enrichment, and everlasting significance.

Mug and Muffin Morning - Saturday, January 29
The Mug and Muffin Morning, sponsored by the Women's Ministry, was held on Saturday, January 21, 2012 in the Mount Olive Fellowship Hall. The theme of "Sunshine in January", was well received because of the very rainy morning.
Joyce Condry welcomed the ladies, and then everyone enjoyed the breakfast of assorted muffins, fruit and beverages. Cara White Kitchens gave a musical message in the two songs she sang. Gloria Nipper urged the women to look for God's mercy and faithfulness in their own lives, as she gave her testimony, depicting God's loving care in the challenges she has faced in her life.
Afterwards, the ladies exchanged mugs and learned who would be their prayer partner throughout 2012.
